About

Stephen Gray Vision Mission

The human enterprise has reached an unprecedented nexus point. We are now faced with an inescapable choice: either we awaken to our true nature of connectedness to all and the unconditional intelligence and love that underpin existence altogether; or we continue inexorably toward a dystopian and possibly even uninhabitable future.

The “Vision” contains a prayer and a hope: that having run the materialist illusion into the ground, enough of us necessary to shift the trajectory will turn our hearts and heads toward the whispering voices of wisdom carried on the winds of transformation.

My intention with StephenGray Vision is to participate in the work of our only sane choice. It’s by no means just ‘my’ vision. You might say it’s THE vision. There are many who understand it and who care passionately about sharing it. I’ve met quite a few of these visionaries, especially those involved with psychedelics/entheogens, and will be talking with a number of them in this series.

About Stephen Gray and the Vision

I’ve been involved in spiritual work and psychedelics for 50 years. This includes more than 20 years as a student and occasional teacher of Tibetan Buddhism; a dozen years actively involved with Native American Church peyote prayer ceremonies; “guest” membership in the ayahuasca-using Santo Daime Church, and experience with a number of other entheogens.

I’m also the author of Returning to Sacred World: A Spiritual Toolkit for the Emerging Reality, and editor as well as one of 18 contributors to the popular Cannabis and Spirituality: An Explorer’s Guide to an Ancient Plant Spirit Ally. I teach people about the spiritual benefits of intentional cannabis use and conduct cannabis meditation and sound-journeying ceremonies.

Perhaps most relevant to the mission of StephenGray Vision, for the past 10 years I’ve co-organized the influential Spirit Plant Medicine Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. That work has connected me to dozens of remarkable spokespeople on behalf of the skillful understanding and use of psychedelic/entheogenic sacramental medicines. These are primarily the people I’ll be talking with here.

Video interviews and monologues will be on the YouTube channel and the audio podcast on Anchor – both with the title StephenGray Vision. Please consider subscribing and sharing with appropriate networks. This is the most important task for humanity now, and as the legendary Bishop Desmond Tutu pointed out, we have to believe in “the possibility of possibility.”

With a prayer in my heart,

Stephen Gray
